 Stephen M. CarusoAfter years as an
insurance defense attorney, Steve Caruso is now putting his skills to
work for the very people that he was trained for so many years to take
advantage of - victims of personal injury accidents.
Mr. Caruso was born and
raised in Syracuse, New York. He received his B.A. from
LeMoyne
College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and
received his J.D. from the
Syracuse University College of Law.
While in law school, Mr.
Caruso was active in student government and community service, serving as Chairman of the Community Service Committee,
Executive Director of the Women's Law Caucus, and Graduating Class President, sharing the stage with the
Honorable Attorney General Janet Reno at Commencement.
While in school, Mr. Caruso received the Outstanding Student
Award, the Paul Shipman Andrews Award, and is currently featured
in the
Syracuse University College of Law Alumni
Spotlight as his Class'
only entrant.
Mr. Caruso is a
member in good standing of the
State Bar of Nevada, served
on the nine member Executive Council of the
Young Lawyers Section of the
State Bar of Nevada, and was later elected as Chair of the Young
Lawyers Section. In addition, Mr. Caruso is past Chair of the
State Bar's Technical Committee, formed to explore avenues for
integrating and implementing Web services into the State Bar's
mission.
Mr. Caruso is admitted to
practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit,
the Nevada Supreme Court, and all Nevada State Courts. He is a
member of the
Clark County Bar Association,
the
Nevada Justice Association , and a member of the
American Association
for Justice.
